As I travel on the bumpy road to one of the most remote and northernmost parts of India, we constantly have to make stops and wait for machines to clear the road of gravel and rocks. India is widening the roads up here; they need to be able to transport tanks and military vehicles to the Chinese border. 2012 a treaty with China runs out and no one knows what will happen. This disputed area is one of magnificent valleys and great mountains, and a people stuck between two of the worlds largest armies.
